Craig St. John Solo

Kicking off our Sunday live music and helping us celebrate Cinco De Mayo will be Craig Edwin St. John. Craig is a veteran solo artist who also serves as lead singer for a couple of area bands, including Brother West and Saints and Sinners. A guitarist and singer/songwriter, he plays a wide variety of music and provides seamless entertainment for his audiences.

Mac Beaty Band

The Mac Beatty Band, formed in 2021, is a 4-piece band based out of Greenville, South Carolina playing a fusion of oldies, folk, country, Americana or what they describe as “just good music.” Led by singer/guitarist/songwriter Mac Beaty, a longtime Greenville resident and musician, other members include Greenville residents Gary Clark, percussion, Melissa LaTourette, vocals, and John Schaffer, bass.

Marty Shirley Duo

Marty Shirley is a singer/songwriter/producer from Anderson, S.C. His live shows are a blend of country/blues/Americana. Marty was the 2023 finalist for Album of the Year in the Upstate Music Awards. He had four songs featured in the Burt Reynolds movie, “Elbow Grease.” Bringing a soulful sound to the stage, Mary is a storyteller that captivates his audiences. His latest album is “The Trouble with Truth.” He will share the stage with his musician son, Will Shirley.

Rene Russell On Deck
Sunday May 12th
Join Rene Russell, a South Caroling native who currently resides in Waynesville, N.C., for some Mother's Day live music. She has a percussive 12-string way of playing her music, which sparks the urge for her audience to dance. Her original Americana rock world music style cover tunes in a wide variety of genres from Fleetwood Mac to Johnny Cash. You will hear undertones of bluegrass and reggae. Renee has crafted her bass style thumping, claw-hammer pulling finger-picking technique since 1971.

Asheville Junction

Asheville Junction is a bluegrass/Americana band from the high country of North Carolina. Their lively, entertaining shows feature hot fiddlin', vocals, harmonies and much more. Folks find themselves singing, clapping, and toe-tappin' along to the music. Asheville Junction formed when mother-daughter duo Tierra and Maria Raiti moved to Asheville and joined up with long-time local musicians Brad Pope on upright bass, and Rudy Cortese on banjo. Tierra is lead and harmony singer and a fiery fiddler. Maria plays rhythm guitar and sings harmony. When headed to Nashville, they stopped and got off at The Asheville Junction!

Wiregrass is a bluegrass/Americana band based in the Foothills of North Carolina. Band members include Jamey Harrison, lead vocals/guitar and Brad Davis, vocals/bass both of Ellenboro; Scott Lail of Delight, vocals/banjo/dobro; Jeremy Greene of Morganton, vocals/mandolin; and Tyler Leonard of Lawndale, vocals/lead guitar. One of the band’s original songs is “Bluegrass and BBQ.”

Entering the Upstate music scene in Spring of 2023, Upstate Of Mind hit the ground running, quickly earning a reputation for high energy, unforgettable vocals and engaging shows featuring professional musicians, audio and lighting. The band will bring a party to the stage that you don’t want to miss. Band members are Ricky Mansfield, drums; Mark Nowell, guitar/vocals; Thomas Brady, bass/vocals; Dan Poisson, guitar; and Andrea Trainer. Vocals.

Fernwood Rising

Fernwood Rising is a country/Americana band from Spartanburg. The band's powerhouse harmonies and honest lyrics evoke memories of honeysuckle summers and mossy oaks. Throughout their performance, you will hear hints of the band's influences, which include Fleetwood Mac, John Mayer, Taylor Swift and Joni Mitchell. Their covers give a refreshing spin to classic songs while adding amazing harmonies. Their originals are filled with emotional lyrics and impactful melodies that will remain in your mind long after the show. The trio consists of three members, Taylor Miller and Laura-Clare Thevenet on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Bob Donnan on lead guitar.
