Mattocks-Johnson Band hails from Hendersonville and brings a variety of danceable blues rock, classic rock and original tunes to the stage. The band is fronted by Bill Mattocks—a nationally known touring artist—on vocals/harmonica/guitar; with Howie Johnson on vocals/lead guitar/slide guitar; Harlan Johnson on drums; and John Brookshire of Greenville, S.C., on electric bass.

The Marc Higgins Duo churns out the kind of rootsy-flavored rock’n’roll that has made Marc, a lead singer/guitarist, a fixture on the Upstate music scene for more than two decades. Hailing from Spartanburg, Marc is teaming with musician Don McGraw on bass/backing vocals for this gig. Together they will bring the best of singer/songwriter originals to the stage.

Bearded Bardsis an area four-piece group that will bring some blues, classic rock and Americana to the stage. Band members are Bill Loftus, Donald Yelton, Mike Carver and Kyle Lami. These musicians have a long history and a fan following with a previously popular local band, Second Souls.

Saturday April 6th
Take 3 Band of Greenville/Spartanburg area of South Carolina and Saluda plays a variety of classic country to familiar rock songs. The band consists of Shaun Mitchell on guitar, vocals and harmonica; Ken Kallenbach on bass and vocals; and Rich Pocock on drums. Veteran musicians, the band members are native to the area and love sharing some “good old rock’n’roll.”

Carrie Morrison
Friday April 12th
Carrie Morrison's music is melodic and memorable, and her songs make connections. The singer/songwriter/pianist, a native of Louisville, Ky., and WNC resident for the last 15+ years, released EPs "Carolina Blonde" and "The Neverwhere Sisters." She performs solo but also with the Andrew Thelston Band and was recently voted #3 keyboardist in the Mountain Xpress's Best of WNC.

Crystal Creek is primarily a country and southern rock cover band that plays a little something for everyone including country/classic country/classic rock/southern rock and bluegrass. Band members are Ed Bowen, lead guitar of Williamston, SC; Candace Gronek, rhythm/vocals of Greenville, SC; Jerry Hipp, drummer of Inman, SC; and Robert Bowen, bass/vocals of Inman, SC.

Holden Pace is a Saluda native, Hendersonville resident and singer/songwriter who will bring his form of original music to the Saluda live music stage. Holden fronts the Holden Pace and Quality Control Band. He plays guitar, piano and serves as lead singer. He is also a worship leader at this church.

Bruised Rhino

Bruised Rhino is an Americana jam band out of Shelby, NC. Band members include Cornelius Logan on drums/vocals; Pedro Fraginals on guitar/vocals; Randy Mach on guitar/mandolin/vocals; Mike Claprood, bass; and Joe Hindsley, harmonica/vocals. This group of multi-instrumentalists plays an eclectic mix of Americana/blues/soul and psychedelia. They provide a genre crossing and boundary pushing experience.

Gilkey Cattle Company

Gilkey Cattle Company is a four-piece country band with a love of Willie Nelson, Clint Black, Keith Whitley and other country greats as well as the Eagles and Marshall Tucker tunes. Home based in Rutherford, N.C., the band focuses on classic country from the 90s to 2000s. The band is headed by veteran guitar player and singer Garry Cuthbertson with Kate Durham on fiddle, Randy Fish on guitar and vocals and Tony Dente on drums and vocals.

Crystal Fountains Band

Crystal Fountains is an Americana, folk, bluegrass band from Charlotte, N.C., that plays traditional bluegrass as well as original music with elements of jazz, blues and rock. They pull from a variety of influences with an emphasis on vocal harmonies reminiscent of the Delmore Brothers, Stanley Brothers and The Louvin Brothers, just to name a few. The group is led by Grant Funderburk.
