Finkelstein Three is a trio that is heavily influenced by musical greats such as Doc Watson, Tony Rice and David Grisman. The group blends many other influences outside of the bluegrass gene to create acoustic music that is their own. The trio features Derek McCoy on guitar/vocals, Tommy Brooks on mandolin/vocals and Philip Simmons on bass.

Spiro and Nicole Nicolopoulos have returned to their jam and psychedelic roots with their 5-piece electric ensemble The Paper Crowns Electric Band. Their songs are a medley of blues, psychedelic and Southern rock, folk and funk--steeped in the tastiest traditions of American music. The band is known for its top tier improvised jams, soulful harmonies and richly cultivated songwriting.

The fabulously entertaining Craig St. John will be host of our Early Bird New Year's Eve celebration. Come on down for dinner/drinks and free live music from 6-8:30 on Dec. 31 at Saluda Outfitters and Green River Eddy's Tap Room & Grill. This is an event for the entire family. Our Reservation Only New Year's Eve Celebration will follow from 9-12:30. Reserved seats are $20 and include both shows, a toast at midnight and party favors.

Highway 52 Duo consists of two local musicians who have teamed up to bring the blues, 60s and 70s rock and Americana tunes to the stage. Bill Loftus of Flat Rock is a multi-instrumentalist playing guitar, piano and excelling on the harmonica. His musical partner is Michael “Country” Carver who is known for his deep, rich vocals.

Rudy’s Bluegrass Revue delivers dynamic bluegrass with contemporary flair that is steeped in tradition, while balancing a cutting-edge sound. Rudy Cortese is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist entertainer. He plays 5-string banjo, guitar, mandolin and fiddle. He and duet partner Elizabeth Kronlage reside in Leicester. Their music includes a variety of original compositions, bluegrass, rhythm and roots, Americana/country, classical and world music.

Around Town

Around Town is a group formed by Bill Lee, a singer-songwriter originally from Charleston but who now splits his time between Mt. Pleasant and Tryon. He will be performing a number of his originals along with some covers from all eras. His Americana style southern roots music often has a nod to the folk-rock legends with a hint of a country music feel thrown in. His Charleston bands include The Jockey Lot Band and The Frantic Mellow Band but he is now also blending with talents of the upcountry to bring a new project called Around Town. You'll have to drop in to find out just who's Around Town. You can check out his single solo release on iTunes, Spotify or YouTube called “SunUp SunDown.” (His stage name is Billee Seasharp).
