Matt Phillips and What’s Good of Easley, S.C., has been performing around the Upstate for the last few years. The four-piece group plays an eclectic mix of covers including favorites like the Allman Brothers “Whipping Post,” John Mayer’s “Gravity,” and The Beatles’ “Come Together.” Band mates are Matt Phillips and Justin Roe, guitars/vocals; Marshal Covert, bass/vocals; and Sean Britt, drums/sound engineer.

Tasha Ann features country and Christian singer Tasha Ann. This young musician is graced with powerful vocals with tones that range from the sweetest whispers to the raspy, soulful growls of a more mature artist. Like many country artists, she got her start in church. Whether singing praise songs or her originals, she gives each performance 100 percent, as does her band mates Dale Huffman, acoustic guitar; Liam Pippert, acoustic guitar and Craig Robinson, electronic drums, who will perform with her.

Marley’s Chain is a male/female duo formed by Hendersonville artists Christie Gipson and David Hintz. Both musicians play guitar & bass, switch out instruments throughout the show and sing lead and harmony. Catoe White Band is a 4-piece band that plays familiar country favorites, country adjacent such as Jimmy Buffet and Hootie and the Blowfish, and select original material. Its members live, work, and play all over the Upstate and the midlands of South Carolina and Eastern North Carolina. Catoe’s voice is described as warm and soulful and he is backed by a band with many decades of experience playing stages big and small. His blend of classic country twang with a healthy dose of Americana inspiration creates a sound that feels both timeless and fresh.

Sunday, Sept. 6 |Rick Hornyak Duo features Rick Hornyak, a singer-songwriter who recently moved to WNC from Austin. His latest album, Dandelion, blends rockin’ guitars with heartfelt, honest lyrics and has been played on radio stations across the country. He is lead of the band Highway Companions. The duo plays a mix of original music and classic songs from Americana and Classic Rock greats.

The Casual Zealots

Casual Zealots Band is a band with members primarily from the Tryon area. The group features Jim Peterman, Rich Nelson, Vinny Corda and Marco Noto. They play originals, including “Soul Searching” written by Vinny Corda, as well as well-known favorites. Their music has been featured at the Tryon International Film Festival and Tryon Fine Arts Center.

Stephen Evans will share his solo music as part of a Saluda Sunday Funday performance. Stephen's strong melodic songwriting style is a blend of vivid imagery, darkness, and hopeful optimism. There's no denying the feeling that shines through with his evocative vocals and lyrics. Songs like ‘Ghost Among the Trees’, 'The Garden', 'Cherokee Hills', 'Shining Star', and '1000 Roses' are beacons of his folk-rock song craft. With radio play on WNC radio stations, as well as shows around the region, Stephen Evans and his band, The True Grits, are becoming a local favorite.
