Matt Phillips Band of Easley, S.C., has been performing around the Upstate for the last few years. The four-piece group plays an eclectic mix of covers including favorites like the Allman Brothers “Whipping Post,” John Mayer’s “Gravity,” and The Beatles’ “Come Together.” Band mates are Matt Phillips and Justin Roe, guitars/vocals; Marshal Covert, bass/vocals; and Sean Britt, drums/sound engineer.

Echo Operative is a 5-piece party band hailing from Spartanburg. They primarily play rock, country and pop popular in the ‘70s to 2000s. The talented ensemble is led by a husband-and-wife team, Dr. Joseph Bocia, lead vocalist/guitarist and Dr. Sue Boscia, harmonica/vocals. Flushing out the team is Rob Gillum, drums, Chris Bryant, keyboard/harmony vocals, and Henry Steil, bass and harmony vocals.

Treat Dad to a day out with live music. Wildwood Music Duo brings together veteran musician Garry Cuthbertson and the talented Kate Durham. As a team, these musicians play an acoustic show with inspiring vocals and outstanding musicality. Garry entertains with guitar and vocals, while Kate shares her talents on fiddle and vocals.

Fairlight and The Magick is a band that came together through the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The members of the band came from all directions to make WNC their home. Once the band members were all in the same room, the power and soulfulness of Fairlight De Torres' voice was astonishing. The mission of the band was clear—to develop a sound and style to fit Fairlight’s amazing skill. The result is a musical stew of funky soul and psychedelia rooted in the blues and always played with a lot of feeling.

Esther Rose & Grey Wolf travels up the mountain from Traveler’s Rest to share some rock’n’roll favorites. Offering authentic performances, the band is guitar rhythms led by veteran musicians fronted by a charismatic young singer, Esther Rose. Joining her are guitarist Gary Davis, bassist Don Hartke, drummer Winston Claiborne, and keyboardist Wryley Bettis.

Borderline Therapy Rock Band is that Landrum based rock’n’roll band that brings the crowd to its feet every time. This 5-piece ensemble of ultra-talented musicians has a flare for getting the audience involved in the performance. Their eclectic mix of the best generations of rock mixed with some old school country, provides a show that has a little something for everyone. Lead singer Reggie Fowler is backed by guitarists Ben Smith and Brady Caldwell with Michael Jackson on drums and Jason Martin on bass.

Celebrate the 4th of July with Sparkle City Rockets, a band bringing something different to the stage as America celebrates its 250th anniversary. This rock’n’roll band plays a unique flavor of ‘50s and ‘60s to modern rock and rockabilly... Stray Cats, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Ventures, Shadows to name but a few...with some great adaptations of modern classics like George Michael's “Careless Whisper” and original songs, too! This Upstate band relates to young and old alike ensuring everyone has a great time. Join them and celebrate the U.S.A.

Tracy Davis & TMI is a Hendersonville duo that plays current hits as well as hits from the past with danceable tunes in genres that include country, pop, rock and reggae. The duo’s style includes vocals, guitars, keyboards providing music by artists like J Taylor, Ed Sherran, Coldplay, Teddy Swims and more. Joining Tracy is musician Chuck Stanberry.

Special Characters Band is making its debut at Saluda’s favorite outdoor free live music venue. The band hails from the Hickory and Morganton music scene. Special Characters delivers a high-energy performance with a unique playlist that blends classic rock, deep-cut favorites, and unexpected twists that keep audiences hooked. With a sound that’s both familiar and refreshingly original, they bring the perfect mix of musicianship, charisma, and crowd engagement to every show. This band is ready to amplify the venue’s atmosphere with live music that gets people talking, tapping their feet, and coming back for more.

Rudy’s Bluegrass Revue embodies Rudy Cortese’s passion for storytelling through music, featuring soaring harmonies and expressive instrumentation. Rudy is an award-winning banjoist, singer, songwriter and composer, whose music seamlessly fuses bluegrass, country, y’allternative, classical, roots, Americana, and jazz influences into a style all his own. Joined by vocalist/tenor guitarist, and cellist Elizabeth Kronlage, bassist Tim Comstock, and North Carolina fiddler and singer Scott Ferguson, the band delivers an immersive and uplifting experience celebrating the deep ties between music and the human heart. Original compositions capture the essence of connection—between people, their experiences and the larger world—blending intricate banjo melodies with raw emotion.

Dakota Lee will join forces with Holden Pace to bring a high caliber duo to the stage. Dakota is a songwriter and country artist out of Hendersonville that blends authentic storytelling with an edge to capture what it means to live "life like a country song." Growing up in Appalachia, his songs about real life seem conversational in a way that resonates with his listeners. His voice, marked by soulful grit, has developed a presence in the local country music community. After slinging guitars with other artists on the road for the past five years, he's ready to make a name for himself by way of original music and his modern take on ‘90s country. Holden, a Saluda native and Hendo resident, shares his strong vocal abilities and guitar talents through his church, Biltmore Baptist each Sunday. The dynamic duo will bring some great musical entertainment to the stage for a Saluda Sunday Funday.

Common Clay Band brings high energy, foot-stomping tunes by Shelby recording artists. This band shares upbeat original country music, bringing fresh new sounds to the stage. Performance have been said to be “anything but common.” With a big following from the band’s Shelby home base, Common Clay is not your typical bar band. Its music is being shared worldwide on all music platforms, according to acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter Mike McKinnish. Joining Mike on stage will be band mates Justin Harper/lead guitar; Chris Edwards/bass; and Caleb Strong/drums.

Jade Moore & The Fellers  is a band featuring Jade Moore, a soulful singer-songwriter from Gaston County, with over a decade of experience as a full-time professional musician. She is a true "road dog", devoted to taking her music as far as she can. From the Gulf of Mexico, to Isle of Palms, and the heart of Appalachia, Jade's music and stories are rooted in the road and the land. Recently awarded Queen City Nerve's Best of the Nest award for Best Singer/Songwriter 2024. She is known for her powerful voice and captivating stage presence. Jade brings audiences on a journey through an eclectic range of music that spans across all genres. However, her roots lie deeply in blues, jazz, bluegrass, and gospel infusing each song with a rich, authentic feel that speaks to her influences and home, down to calling her genre, Gastonia Americana.

Around Town is a band where talented musicians from “around the town” of Tryon join forces from time to time to produce a mix of various genres of music. Around Town is spearheaded by the talented Billee Seasharp who is often joined by Jay Lichty to form a duo, Around Town could show up for its performance with any number of musicians who want to share their talents for Saluda Sunday Funday. Come on out and see who is playing from Around Town!

Raphael Graves Band combines talented musician Raphael Graves with a stellar line up of WNC area musicians performing rock, country and Americana tunes. Raphael is known for his award-winning vocal work in regional bands like LAZRLUVR. Now living down state, he frequently performs solo or as a duo with select artists from around North Carolina.

Cross Eyed Betty offers a unique take on old classics and new Americana. The Spartanburg based ensemble features exceptional vocals and harmonies. Band mates are Annie Perry, vocals/bass; Jill Burnette, electric violin; Barry Burnett, guitar; Steve Nally, percussion; Ted Lucktenburg, cello/bass/mandolin; and Jeff Brady, keyboards/vocals/mandolin.

Tasha Ann features country and Christian singer Tasha Ann. This young musician is graced with powerful vocals with tones that range from the sweetest whispers to the raspy, soulful growls of a more mature artist. Like many country artists, she got her start in church. Whether singing praise songs or her originals, she gives each performance 100 percent, as does her band mates Dale Huffman, acoustic guitar; Liam Pippert, acoustic guitar and Craig Robinson, electronic drums, who will perform with her.

Sam Wilson Morris is a folk singer/songwriter from Rock Hill, SC. He specializes in guitar and harmonica and takes inspiration from jam bands and folk rock. He'll play solo for Saluda Sunday Funday.
